Abstract

Il volume, scritto da accademici e consulenti, intende squarciare questo velo rendendo accessibili a tutti metodologie, strumentazioni e tecniche necessarie ad affrontare con successo il mutevole contesto competitivo del XXI secolo. Proprio questa situazione di turbolenza genetica dei mercati ha spinto gli autori a ricercare quegli approcci che permettessero ai manager di gestire l’ingestibile, e cioè di governare la creatività, l’innovazione, l’ambiente e il rischio. Da un lato, gli strumenti classici della pianificazione strategica usati dalle grandi aziende non garantiscono più i risultati degli anni passati poiché tutti i riferimenti storici sono saltati, dall’altro, la formula imprenditoriale che ha guidato con successo per anni le piccole e medie imprese italiane non facilita la creazione di vantaggi competitivi sostenibili nel tempo e risulta molto debole nell’affrontare la concorrenza dei player internazionali, specie asiatici.
