Antropologia forense e modellazione virtuale

Abstract

L’Antropologia Forense è la disciplina che applica le conoscenze proprie dell’Antropologia “fisica” al contesto forense, individuando e analizzando le caratteristiche biologiche dell’individuo attraverso metodologie scientifiche. Con riferimento particolare alla balistica forense si affronteranno i seguenti principali aspetti: • interpretazione di traumi individuati sullo scheletro umano; • individuazione delle caratteristiche antropologiche di soggetti presenti sulla scena del crimine ai fini della modellazione virtuale. Se l’analisi di traumi sullo scheletro rappresenta un aspetto investigativo importante, un ulteriore contributo di rilievo riguarda l’individuazione del profilo biologico (sesso, età, popolazione, principali caratteristiche morfometriche) delle persone presenti sulla scena del crimine. Tale profilo potrà essere tracciato sia con riferimento al vivente che allo scheletro. Ai fini della ricostruzione della scena del crimine e delle successive analisi relative alla dinamica degli eventi, non vi è dubbio che una parte fondamentale sia rappresentata dalla modellazione virtuale effettuata proprio a partire dal profilo biologico delle persone presenti.
