Abstract

Nella Symphonie Pastorale, la seduttiva del discorso religioso si sviluppa secondo una duplice modalità che si riproduce nella struttura formale dell’opera attraverso l’alternanza tra la forma del diario e quella del racconto. Nella tessitura argomentativa del premier cahier, l’ethos e il pathos del protagonista, legati al suo ruolo di pastore protestante, si legittimano tramite il riferimento religioso. Nel deuxième cahier, invece, l’argomentazione si sviluppa per tappe inscritte nel logos del discorso; la narrazione attualizza una distorsione del messaggio evangelico in funzione del processo seduttivo.
