Abstract

Il volume raccoglie, in un nuovo testo critico fondato sulla diretta ricognizione dei manoscritti e con un ampio commento filologico, linguistico ed esegetico, alcuni dei componimenti poetici più antichi della letteratura italiana ed esattamente: 1) il Ritmo laurenziano; 2) il Ritmo lucchese; 3) il Ritmo cassinese; 4) il Ritmo su sant'Alessio; 5) la canzone "Quando eu stava"; 5) il frammento "Fra tuti quî"; 6) la canzonetta "Meravigliosamente" di Giacomo da Lentini; 7) il frammento zurighese di Giacomino Pugliese; 8) la canzone "Pir meu cori allegrari" di Stefano Protonotaro.
