Abstract

Le tecnologie IoT (Internet of Things), che si stanno diffondendo in modo pervasivo in tutti i contesti, pongono alla Digital Forensics importanti sfide dovute a diversi fattori tra i quali l’estrema eterogeneità dei dispositivi, la loro vulnerabilità, la mancanza di idonee interfacce, le connessioni di rete prive di protezione, lo scambio di dati con servizi cloud non sicuri. In questo contributo si intende proporre un modello utile a valutare la “Qualità dell’Informazione” che sia non soltanto adeguato al contesto dell’IoT Forensics, ma anche coerente rispetto ai più recenti sviluppi del pensiero contemporaneo - in particolare la “filosofia dell’informazione” - e alla struttura dialettica - della discussione giudiziale. Dopo avere fornito alcuni chiarimenti relativamente all’impostazione teoretica, si espone il modello e si fornisce un esempio del suo possibile utilizzo con riferimento ad un caso concreto. Al termine vengono delineate alcune prospettive per un’ulteriore ricerca.
