Abstract

L’article présente les résultats d’une recherche exploratoire, qui entend enquêter sur les pratiques d’appropriation spatiale mises en œuvre par les visiteurs dans les rues commerciales d’un centre urbain de l’Italie du Nord. L’hypothèse de départ est que l’expérience du visiteur peut être interprété en termes narratifs. À cette fin,une enquête fondée sur l’observation non participante a été menée sur un échantillon de 244 cas. L’analyse a permis d’identifier cinq profils de consommation, chacun desquels attribue à l’environnement urbain des significations personnelles,conformément à des stratégies narratives différentes.
