Abstract

Il contributo esplora le trasformazioni profonde che l’intelligenza artificiale (IA) sta generando nel nostro concetto di razionalità e nella relazione tra uomo e tecnologia. Il rapido avanzamento dell’IA e la sua integrazione nelle sfere sociali, economiche e scientifiche stanno infatti ridisegnando il panorama delle competenze umane, proponendo sfide filosofiche e pratiche di grande rilevanza. Non si tratta solo di un progresso tecnologico, come il motore a vapore o l’elettricità: l’IA ha la capacità di imitare e addirittura superare la mente umana in alcune sue funzioni, come dimostrato da esempi concreti, tra cui la scoperta di nuove molecole in ambito medico e le innovative mosse del software AlphaZero nel gioco degli scacchi.
