La letteratura-mondo italiana

Abstract

«Scrivere in una lingua straniera è un atto pagano perché, se la lingua madre protegge, la lingua straniera dissacra e libera» (Tahar Lamri). Quest’atto dissacratorio e, per certi aspetti, eretico – tanto nei confronti della lingua natia quanto di quella d’adozione – è l’aspetto fondamentale e distintivo della «letteratura-mondo italiana»: la letteratura che autori di diversa madrelingua creano in italiano. Ma quali trasformazioni attua questa migrazione linguistica e culturale? Attraverso quali modalità essa agisce sulla nostra tradizione letteraria e sul nostro immaginario, modificandoli dall’interno? Quali sono gli esiti espressivi e le innovazioni linguistiche che questa ibridazione produce? Lo studio risponde a tali quesiti, analizzando per la prima volta la narrativa degli autori-mondo con approccio stilistico e valorizzando la qualità letteraria dei testi, per inscrivere a pieno titolo la letteratura-mondo nella letteratura italiana tout-court.
