On February 2018, over 200 individuals from the three Abrahamic faiths, many religious leaders and senior politicians gathered in Washington to relaunch the Alliance of Virtue between religions. The New Alliance of Virtue follows the pattern of the original one. It is an effort across religions, despite their differences. The New Alliance of Virtue is founded on the principles exposed in the Marrakesh Declaration on the Rights of Religious Minorities in Muslim Majority lands (Fuccillo, A. 2016, The Marrakech Declaration. A Bridge to Religious Freedom in Muslim Countries?, Naples, IT: Editoriale Scientifica). Considering that, in December 2019 was signed the New Alliance of Virtue Charter in Abu Dhabi. The Carter is built upon human dignity, freedom of conscience and religion or belief, tolerance, justice, peace and solidarity. This book explores the articles of the New Alliance of Virtue Charter and highlights the importance of the relationship between law and religion in a pluralistic society.
