Abstract

Resoconto dell'ottava edizione del seminario "Dalla mappa al GIS", svoltosi il 21-22 maggio 2014 presso il Laboratorio geocartografico «Giuseppe Caraci» del Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici dell’Università «Roma Tre», con il patrocinio delle principali associazioni geografiche nazionali (AGeI, AIC, AIIG, SGI, SGG). Il seminario ha inteso valorizzare gli studi di geografia e cartografia storica, proponendo una riflessione sul tema «Per un atlante della Grande Guerra» nella ricorrenza del centenario della prima guerra mondiale e ha visto la partecipazione di numerosi studiosi italiani e stranieri, appartenenti a varie aree disciplinari e provenienti da differenti università ed enti di ricerca nazionali.
