This paper presents a case study concerning a research in progress concerning e-learning practices in mathematics education. The described experiment can be linked to peer learning and assessment, implemented by a role-play among freshman students at University level. The impact of the e-learning activities on the meta-cognitive, cognitive and affective sides have been analysed.
