Sprechchor im Deutschunterricht

Abstract

Was uns in der ersten Sprache, die wir erwerben, am naheliegendsten erscheint, kann beim Fremdsprachenlernen bisweilen erhebliche Schwierigkeiten bereiten: die mündliche produktive Kompetenz. Und doch oder gerade weil es uns irgendwie allzu selbstverständlich erscheint, dass man eine Sprache, in der man Sätze zu produzieren imstande ist, auch sprechen kann, ist Sprechen eine vor allem in größeren Lerngruppen häufig vernachlässigte Kompetenz. Die vielleicht größte Paradoxie von (Sprach)unterricht überhaupt, dass nämlich die Lehrperson sich des Mediums Sprache in Kontinuität bedient, während diejenigen, die dieses Medium sinnvoll zu gebrauchen erlernen sollen, vorwiegend aufs Zuhören fixiert werden, dürfte ein Übriges dazu beitragen, dass die Sprechschwelle der Lernenden einer fremden Sprache (Fischer 2008) häufig hoch und ihre Aussprache längerfristig vielfach unbefriedigend bleibt. Der Beitrag reflektiert über den Einsatz musikalischer Formen für gemeinsames Sprechen im Unterricht. Dabei geht es um die Frage, inwieweit der Sprechchor sich für die Verhinderung von Sprech- und Ausspracheproblemen eignet. Es wird auch dafür geworben, die gruppendynamische Potenz von Sprechchören als ein mögliches Mittel der Motivierung zum Sprechen zu begreifen.
