Traduzione intersemiotica

Abstract

Tradurre può voler dire etimologicamente, “trasportare”, come nel passaggio da una riva all’altra di un fiume: se le due rive sono testi (e territori) diversi, e il fiume in mezzo la diversità storico-culturale, in questa prima accezione la traduzione intersemiotica diventa il trasferimento di contenuti simili che riesce a superare la distanza e la differenza tra i linguaggi e le culture, passando da un primo testo a un secondo testo. Una seconda accezione della traduzione intersemiotica la considera come una relazione interpretativa e traduttiva che miri all’equivalenza semantica e pragmatica, vincolata sia dallo scopo del progetto comunicativo. Una terza accezione, molto più ampia, permette di porre nello stesso continuum semiotico i prodotti intersemiotici (o intermediali) e quelli transmediali (o crossmediali).
