Abstract

Il contributo parte dai quattro componenti chiave del futuro Metaverso secondo ASF (Acceleration Studies Foundation), per poi approfondire uno di essi: i cosiddetti mondi specchio. Questi ultimi possono essere collegati a Cartografia e GIS (Geographical Information System). Le possibili interrelazioni fra GIS, cartografia e mondi specchio sono brevemente esaminate, con particolare riferimento a come il diffuso browser cartografico Google Maps implementa elementi metaversuali nelle sue funzionalità.
