Abstract

L'articolo traccia una breve storia della slovenistica universitaria italiana dai suoi esordi nel 1914 con Bruno Guyon presso il Regio Istituto Orientale di Napoli fino ai giorni nostri in cui trova collocazione istituzionale presso gli atenei di Napoli, Roma, Padova, Udine e Trieste. L'articolo compendia inoltre l'attuale situazione normativa, pedagogica e strutturale della slovenistica italiana indicandone i principali problemi, potenzialità e prospettive.
