The presentation describes the Dialnet ecosystem, which comprises the largest Spanish-language research literature database worldwide, a set of metrics to analyse such outputs and the collaborative Dialnet CRIS research information management system. The role played by research libraries in the content ingest workflows into this ecosystem is highlighted, as well as the endeavour to build a national research portal in Spain by bringing together the various universities currently operating instances of Dialnet CRIS.
