Abstract

The contribution explores the role of the research training as methodology for promoting organizational learning and workrelated practice transformation in workplace. Particularly, starting from a metaanalysis of the data about employment, unemployment and employability in Italy, is discussed the practical and epistemological shift from the profession building to the employability cultivation. First at university, then in workplace, employability is cultivated through softskills development. So, some questions are how build up learning setting for fostering softskills at university and at work? How is it possible that the inquiry is a learning and training methodology? The research training is here conceived as professional development practice and as a methodology for professional practices transformations. At this regard, is offered a research intervention carried out within the Department of Education, Humanities and intercultural Communication of University of Siena, describing methodology, procedures and outcomes in knowledge, organizational and factual terms.
