Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación es analizar la factibilidad de implementar un modelo de negocio de marketplace de muebles y artículos de decoración. Para esto se realizó el análisis del macroentorno a fin de identificar las oportunidades y amenazas, y el análisis del microentorno con el objetivo medir el atractivo de la industria. Asimismo, se realizó una investigación del mercado para analizar su potencial, seleccionar cómo se enfocará el modelo de negocio y estimar la demanda potencial. Luego, se realizó el planteamiento del modelo de negocio en base a los resultados del análisis del entorno y del estudio de mercado. Se formularon las matrices de evaluación de factores externos (EFE), de factores internos (EFI) y FODA. Se planteó la cadena de valor, se definieron los objetivos estratégicos, las estrategias genéricas y se utilizó la matriz cuantitativa de planificación estratégica (MCPE) para seleccionar las estrategias funcionales, que resultan del análisis de la matriz FODA, mejor alineadas a los objetivos estratégicos propuestos. Con las estrategias funcionales definidas, se desarrollaron los planes de marketing, operaciones, recursos humanos, responsabilidad social y financiero.
