Abstract

Lima es una ciudad de casi 10 millones de habitantes que sigue en crecimiento, donde el segundo problema más importante para los limeños es el transporte y está catalogada como la séptima ciudad más congestionada del mundo. Además, uno de cada cinco limeños ha sufrido un robo mientras se traslada. En consecuencia, solo un 16% de la población aprueba el transporte público (Lima Cómo Vamos, 2019, p.10). Este dato se mostró también en las entrevistas realizadas para el presente trabajo, donde la sensación común es de incertidumbre, de no saber si cada día podrán transportarse en un bus formal, de los cuales hay muy pocos, o si tendrán que movilizarse en colectivos informales e inseguros. Una alternativa de solución a estos problemas es Vanxti, una nueva plataforma de economía colaborativa de transporte, que une choferes de transporte colectivo urbano, con pasajeros que buscan seguridad, economía y eficiencia en su ruta diaria. El pasajero ingresa sus destinos frecuentes y horarios, semanales o mensuales, con lo cual el algoritmo arma las rutas, las ofrece a los choferes, quienes las pueden aceptar y el Vanxti queda programado.
