Bu çalışma, Mustafa Kutlu?nun hikâyelerindeki dünya algısı üzerine yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, Kutlu?nun hikâyelerinin arka planında yatan dünya algısının tematik düzlemde ayrı hikâyelerde şekillendiğini, nihayet bunların bir teze bağlandığını tespit etmek olacaktır.Giriş hariç üç bölümden oluşan çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Türk hikâyeciliğinin tarihi serüveninin genel bir panoraması çizildikten sonra Mustafa Kutlu?nun Türk hikâyeciliği içerisindeki yeri ve önemi üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde, Gelenek ve modernizm kutuplarının hikâyelere yansıması ve bu hikâyelerden yola çıkarak yazarın geleneğe ve modernliğe hangi zaviyeden baktığı üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde ise Mustafa Kutlu hikâyelerini kuşatan temel kavramlar olan din ve tasavvuf düşüncesinin hikâyeler içinde üstlendiği rol tespite çalışılmıştır.Bu çalışmada sadece Mustafa Kutlu?nun hikâyelerinden değil, Mustafa Kutlu ile ilgili yazılan makale ve hazırlanan sempozyum bildirilerinden, yazar hakkında yayımlanmış inceleme kitaplarından, konuya ışık tutacak bazı yardımcı kaynaklardan, ayrıca Mustafa Kutlu?nun gazetede yazdığı köşe yazılarından ve son olarak yazar ile yaptığımız söyleşiden istifade edilmiştir.Çalışmanın sonunda Kutlu?nun hikâyelerindeki olay örgüsünün, zaman ve mekân unsurlarının, kimliklerin sıradan bir yapı arz etmediği, hepsinin bir bütün olarak yazarın dünya algısının bir tezahürü olarak ortaya çıktığı tespit edilmiştir. This study examines the perception of the world in Mustafa Kutlu?s stories. The study aims to determine the forming of the perception of the world which lies on the background of Kutlu?s stories in thematic level in different stories and in the end these state a thesis.This study consists of three parts except the introduction. In the first part, after drawing a general view of the history of Turkish short story writing, the place and importance of Mustafa Kutlu in Turkish short story writing are examined. In the second part, the reflection of tradition and modernism on the short stories and through these stories the writer?s point of view about tradition and modernism are discussed. The third part examines the role of religion and sufism in his stories that are the basic concepts in Mustafa Kutlu?s stories.In this study, it is profited by not only the stories of Mustafa Kutlu, but also the articles and the symposium papers about Mustafa Kutlu, the books which analyzes Mustafa Kutlu, some suplementary resources that shed light on this subject, also the writer?s articles in the newspapers and finally the interview with the writer.At the end of the study, it is indicated that the plot, the time and place and the identities do not have an ordinary structure and all of them, as a whole, appear from the sign of the writer?s perception of the world.Key words: Mustafa Kutlu, tradition-modernism, religion, sufism, the world.
