Abstract

Essencial es una iniciativa que identifica prácticas clínicas de poco valor y promueve recomendaciones para evitar su realización. En esta recomendación se indica que, en personas sin tratamiento farmacológico para prevenir las fracturas por fragilidad, el intervalo entre las mediciones de la densidad mineral ósea (DMO) para el control evolutivo de la DMO es, como mínimo, de dos años.

Essencial és una iniciativa que identifica pràctiques clíniques de poc valor i promou recomanacions per tal d'evitar-ne la realització. En aquesta recomanació s'indica que en persones sense tractament farmacològic per a prevenir les fractures per fragilitat, el interval entre les mesures de la densitat mineral òssia (DMO) per al control evolutiu de la DMO, és com a mínim de dos anys.

Essencial is an initiative that identifies low-value clinical practices and promotes recommendations to avoid their use. This recommendation states that, in individuals not receiving pharmacological treatment to prevent fragility fractures, the interval between bone mineral density (BMD) measurements for monitoring BMD changes should be at least two years.
