Indicadors de salut maternoinfantil en la població estrangera a Catalunya 2003

Abstract

Des de l’1 de gener de 2003, el registre de salut maternoinfantil de la Direcció General de Salut Pública incorpora les variables nacionalitat de la mare i nacionalitat del pare dels nadons nascuts a Catalunya. Això permet, per primera vegada, realitzar un estudi descriptiu dels indicadors de salut maternoinfantil entre la població immigrada resident a Catalunya amb l’objectiu de millorar els coneixements dels aspectes relacionats amb l’atenció sanitària maternoinfantil, un dels motius d’atenció sanitària més freqüent entre les persones de nacionalitat estrangera residents a Catalunya.
