Abstract

Este artículo explora el modo en que se subordinó la región sur de Argentina a partir de homologarla a diferentes estereotipos femeninos. Este proceso se compara con el modo en que el Estado Nacional chileno significó su propio sur, encontrando elementos similares en la vinculación asimétrica. Este análisis, que repara especialmente en las metáforas que asimilan mujer a naturaleza, se complementa con el reconocimiento de una organización de productoras en la región más vulnerada y vulnerable del territorio. Así se muestra como, desde prácticas que reivindican y resignifican lo doméstico, se interpela al orden geográfico establecido.
