La obra de los escritores de la generación del 900 Manuel Ugarte y Alberto Ghiraldo constituye una expresión significativa del cruce entre los campos del poder y el campo cultural. Sus respectivas formas de militancia en la izquierda argentina de principios del siglo XX auspiciaron una reinterpretación del modelo estético modernista. Analizamos los tópicos en los que se explicitan aquellos cruces e indagamos acerca de la posible especificidad de su discurso estético.
The work of writers from the nineteen hundreds such as Manuel Ugarte and Alberto Ghilardo constitute a significant expression of the cross between the field of power and that of culture. Their respective forms of militancy in the Argentinean left of the early 20th century brought about a re-interpretation of the modernist esthetic model.
