Ein Vorkommen von Matelea balansae (Apocynaceae), einer Art, die bisher nur von einem einzigen Fund aus dem Jahre 1874 aus Paraguay bekannt war, wird erstmals aus Misiones, Argentinien gemeldet. Die adulte Pflanze, Knospen und Blüten werden abgebildet.

Un hallazgo de Matelea balansae (Apocynaceae), una especie que se conocía previamente solo a partir de un hallazgo único en Paraguay en 1874, se informa por primera vez en Misiones, Argentina. Se muestran plantas adultas, brotes y flores.

An occurrence of Matelea balansae (Apocynaceae), a species that was previously known only from a single find from Paraguay in 1874, is first reported from Misiones, Argentina. Adult plants, buds and flowers are displayed.
