Actualización en enfermedad de Aujeszky

Abstract

Aujeszky’s Disease was first recognized in Argentina in 1978. Since then many outbreaks occurred and just in 1996, the National Animal Health Service (SENASA) established a control programme. This work briefly summarize those recent developments and update on the causative agent of Aujeszky’s Disease. Also it is described our current situation and legislation and finally, some eradication programmes in progress in different parts of the world.
