En este artículo analizamos los sucesos independentistas de Cuba, signados como 98 cubano, desde la Argentina como “país observador”. Ubicados fuera de la geografía de conflicto bélico buscamos demostrar la existencia de prensa gráfica alternativa de resistencia a la postura hegemónica establecida en el campo comunicacional nacional de apoyo a España. Para ello tomaremos como fuentes el semanario Cuba Libre y su continuación La República de Cuba.
In this paper we analyze events in Cuba´s independence, called as 98 Cuban, from an external perspective as a country Argentina. Located just outside the geography of war, we seek to demonstrate the existence of alternative graphic press to hegemonic position set out in the national communication field support Spain. For that purpose, we will use as sources the weekly Cuba Libra and, then, La República de Cuba.
