Una reflexión sobre los distritos creativos y las mutaciones del empresarialismo urbano porteño

Abstract

Este dossier nace de un esfuerzo colectivo por reflexionar en torno a una de las principales intervenciones económicas y urbanas que ha tenido la Ciudad de Buenos Aires durante la gestión de Mauricio Macri al frente de la Jefatura de Gobierno (y continuada en la actualidad por Horacio Rodríguez Larreta): la llamada política de “distritos creativos”. Los trabajos que aquí se presentan fueron discutidos en el marco de “III Jornadas de Estudios de América Latina y el Caribe” llevadas a cabo en septiembre de 2016, que actuaron como espacio de encuentro, diálogo y debate. Y por cierto, es particularmente destacable que las autoras y los comentaristas provengan de diferentes campos disciplinares, tales como sociología, ciencias de la comunicación, antropología, derecho y geografía. En ese sentido, este dossier constituye un verdadero objeto interdisciplinario, pues en él se recuperan diferentes tradiciones teóricas, en línea con el ecléctico mundo de los “estudios urbanos”.
