Abstract

In this issue, authors present results obtained by their socio-demographic research on two native communities in nowadays Bolivia, under the Spanish colonial rule: Palca and Tomave. The study focuses on the demographic dynamics characterizing these two communities, applying methods of estimation by population models. Results are compared with demographic indices corresponding to other populations. It is shown the diversity amnong them.
