El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar las especies vegetales utilizadas por las abejas, en un apiario ubicado en Colonia Laharrague, Departamento de Montecarlo al noroeste de la Provincia de Misiones. Se registró el período de floración de 86 especies correspondiente a 37 familias. Estas especies fueron clasificadas según la frecuencia de visitas de las abejas a las flores. Las familias con mayor representación en la oferta de floración entomófila corresponden a las Fabaceae, Asteraceae, Rutaceae entre otras. La máxima oferta para el periodo 2005-2006 se registró en verano y está dada por especies nativas arbóreas o arbustivas. Las flores más visitadas por insectos correspondieron a especies nativas.
The present work has as its aim to identify the plant species used by the bees in an apiary located in Colonia Laharrague in Montecarlo Department at the northwest of Misiones Province. The flowering period of 86 species of 37 families were recorded. These species were classified according to the frequency of the bee’s visits to the flowers. The families with greater representation in the supply of entomophilous flowering correspond to the Fabaceae, Asteraceae, Rutaceae ones among others. The maximum offer for the period 2005-2006 was recorded during summertime and it was given by native species of trees and shrubs. Flowers of native species were the most visited by insects.
