Palinomorfos fúngicos en sedimentos del Pleistoceno-Holoceno del Valle Medio del Arroyo Chasicó, Provincia de Buenos Aires

Abstract

En este trabajo se describe e ilustra la morfología de los palinomorfos fúngicos distintivos, incluyendo esporas, cuerpos fructíferos y fragmentos de hifas, recobrados desde sedimentos correspondientes al Pleistoceno tardío-Holoceno, en el valle medio del arroyo Chasicó, provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Se reconoce un total de 29 formas, de las cuales 23 son clasificadas de acuerdo a sus afinidades con las esporas o propágulos de familias o géneros actuales. Se discute también el hábitat y/o huésped preferente de las formas identificadas y se indica la posición estratigráfica de las diferentes asociaciones de hongos recobrados.
