El impacto del turismo en el Iberá

Abstract

This work tries to identify the tourism impact in "Esteros del Iberá" (Pcia. De Corrientes). This landscapes diversity is a consequence of complex relationships among geomorphologic, hydrologic and biogeography processes, suitable to ecotourism (adventure tourism, rural tourism). The tourism activity promote social, cultural and economic development and besides it is an important source of work, it is necessary the existence of previous activities planning. However this wetland is a result of physical changes, nowadays the man is the principal responsible for the landscape variation. The tourism activity without appropriate laws, environmental impact assessment and with people not aware of these problems; could has negative impact in the landscape. Sustainable tourism in a Ramsar place and a nature reserve need appropriate laws, adequate public and private investments and government controller. We work with cuali-quantitative processes, specific bibliography and statistics, and identification and analysis of physical, land and environmental social variation.
