Trayectorias laborales de trabajadores informales urbanos (2004-2008)

Abstract

A partir del 2008 el mercado de trabajo argentino comenzó a mostrar sus límites en lo relativo a su capacidad para formalizar las relaciones laborales de trabajadores urbanos. En este marco, el presente trabajo tiene como propósito analizar las características que asumió el proceso de formalización de trabajadores informales durante los años previos (2004-2008). En consonancia a dicho propósito, se abordan dos ejes de trabajo: uno primero que focaliza la movilidad laboral de los trabajadores en base de un análisis de trayectorias laborales con la Encuesta Permanente de Hogares (EPH) del Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos (INDEC). Uno segundo que se propone efectuar un análisis de los determinantes que explican los flujos hacia puestos de trabajo formales en base a datos de paneles de la EPH. El trabajo se organiza en tres secciones. Una primera en la cual se explicita la metodología de trabajo. Una segunda en donde se presentan los principales resultados de los análisis efectuados y una tercera que sintetiza los principales hallazgos.
