Los ocultos del Infiernillo

Abstract

Estudios en realización por biólogos tanto de la Argentina como del Uruguay y del Brasil van descubriendo las tendencias evolutivas que llevaron a un amplio grupo de roedores del género Ctenomys, llamados coloquialmente tucu-tucos, a la vida subterránea. Los integrantes de una especie de ese grupo, Ctenomys tuconax, que los lugareños llaman 'ocultos', viven en praderas húmedas y laderas hasta unos 3000m sobre el nivel del mar en la cuesta del Infiernillo, cerca de Tafí del Valle.
