The article intends to draw a new history for Latin-American poetry from a specific and unsettling field of knowledge: cosmology. In this sense, the observation of this space and its astral bodies will enable to envisage the poem as a mysterious and original experience, but nonetheless possible. The chosen poets locate their artifacts and explorations in a compelling time and writing process. This history begins in the twentieth century, then recedes and finally turns back to the present time. This is the path we aim to show and follow in order to read the poetic disaster enacted by contemporary Latin American poetry.
