Las dimensiones semántica y pragmática de las relaciones gramaticales en pilagá (guaycurú)

Abstract

Este trabajo se propone explicar las relaciones sintácticas que se establecen entre argumentos en pilagá (familia guaycurú) sobre la base de un corpus narrativo. Asimismo, se discutirá cómo se articulan las dimensiones semántica y pragmática en relación al funcionamiento de los roles sintácticos en la cláusula. Nuestra hipótesis es que el sistema de marcación de los participantes está dominado por los roles semánticos, y a nivel sintáctico la presencia de frases nominales que los co-refieren, por condiciones pragmáticas de la comunicación y el discurso. Finalmente, concluimos que no podemos establecer correlaciones entre los argumentos y las categorías lingüísticas discretas S,A,O, tal como han sido definidas en la literatura sobre las relaciones gramaticales (Keenan 1976; Dixon 1994, entre otros.)
