Abstract

Invitamos a realizar aportes al debate sobre la actividad minera a gran escala y sus consecuencias (ambientales, sociales, políticas, económicas, culturales, etc.). Considerando que la megaminería ha sido, en las últimas décadas, una de las actividades más promocionadas por gobiernos y sectores empresarios y, paralelamente, una de las más rechazadas y denunciadas por diversos colectivos socioambientales, buscamos reunir experiencias de investigación que contribuyan a reflexionar sobre las implicancias de una de las caras más visibles -y cuestionadas- del modelo extractivo. Esperamos recibir contribuciones que aborden diversos tópicos en relación a esta problemática, entre ellos: 1) Impactos de la megaminería. 2) Estrategias y discursos empresariales (licencia social, responsabilidad empresaria, minería sustentable). 3) Aspectos económicos de la minería a gran escala. 4) Conflictos socioambientales y movilizaciones sociales. 5) Perspectivas teóricas y metodológicas de investigación. Estudios de caso. 6) Marco internacional: cambios y perspectivas.7) Debates sobre extractivismo, neoextractivismo, post extractivismo, transiciones y alternativas. 8) Aspectos éticos y culturales. 9) Minería de litio.
