Abstract

The traditional approaches to criminal abolitionism usually place it as a radical movement within critical criminology. In an attempt to avoid these restrictions, this paper shall analyze it as an ethical and subjective process unfolding as a political practice of the economy of desire (molecular abolitionism). We shall even state that it is from the loss of proper names that it becomes necessary to open up to intensive multiplicities, simultaneously escaping from significance dominant devices. In other words, one comes to present oneself as a molecular abolitionist –or minor criminologist– insofar as one does not have the responsibility of the traditional criminologist, nor the blame of the criminalized.
