Abstract

El examen parasitológico de ejemplares de Biomphalaria peregrina (D’Orbigny, 1835) (Mollusca, Planorbidae) en ambientes dulceacuícolas de la provincia de Buenos Aires (Argentina) reveló la presencia de tres nuevos estadios larvales de digeneos que fueron descriptos y comparados. Se registraron una xiphidiocercaria, una cercaria de la familia Echinostomatidae y una metacercaria perteneciente a la familia Strigeidae.

Parasitological examination of Biomphalaria peregrina (D’Orbigny, 1835) (Mollusca, Planorbidae) from freshwater environments of the Buenos Aires province (Argentina), revealed the presence of three new larval stages of digeneans which were described and compared. One xiphidiocercariae, one cercariae belonging to the Echinostomatidae family and one metacercariae belonging to the Strigeidae family were recorded.
