At present, campuses in several Latin American universities share a series of related problems usually the result of their weak links with the cities that house them. The case of the Buenos Aires University campus, la Ciudad Universitaria, can serve as an example. Because of the characteristics of its population, because of the potential of its landscape and the proximity to some of the best circuits in Buenos Aires, it could be one of the main generators of non-motorized trips in the city. However, those who frequent it know the problems of the accessibility to the campus, which tend to become more and more acute and serious for cyclists and pedestrians.
