Abstract

Para analizar la biología de los trips y por consiguiente determinar su capacidad para actuar como insectos dañinos o benéficos, es importante distinguir entre las plantas, aquellas que representan lugares de alimentación o refugio de lasque son óptimas para mantener sus poblaciones.El presente trabajo tiene como objetivos actualizar e integrar los conocimientos sobre la diversidad de las asociaciones tisanópteros-plantas ornamentales, información básica para el desarrollo de estos cultivos, particularmente de flores de corte, de importancia económica para la provincia de Jujuy. Los ejemplares de trips provienen de muéstreos realizados durante los años 2006-2014, en distintas localidades de la provincia de Jujuy: Tilcara, Purmamarca, Maimará, Huacalera, San Salvador de Jujuy, Pericoy Libertador General San Martín.Se registraron diez especies de trips pertenecientes a la familia Thripidae: Frankliniella australis (Morgan), Frankliniellagemina Bagnall, Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande), Frankliniella schultzei (Trybom), Thripstabaci Lindeman, Microcephalothrips abdominalis (Crawford), Leucothrips piercei Morgan,Neohydatothrips samayunkur (Kudo), Neohydatothripsdenigratus (De Santis) y Heliothrips haemorrhoidalis (Bouché).
