El neodesarrollismo en crisis: transición, ¿y superación?

Abstract

El año 2014 será recordado como un año de quiebre en la historia económica argentina. En este momento el proyecto neodesarrollista ‒en construcción desde 2002 y consolidado entre 2003 y 2007‒ enfrenta sus barreras más difíciles de superar. Un marco estructural construido a través del neoliberalismo, pero ratificado y profundizado durante la última década colisiona contra un contexto internacional que ya no es favorable al desenvolvimiento de un proceso de valorización que, en su primera etapa, hizo posible el sueño de un desarrollo capitalista en la periferia sudamericana (el “capitalismo serio”). La naturaleza contradictoria de la herencia neoliberal y su continuidad neodesarrolista serán abordadas en la siguiente sección. Luego, analizaremos el impacto concreto de la crisis global sobre el ciclo del capital en Argentina y su articulación con una nueva modalidad del histórico ciclo de stop and go. En la tercera sección, analizamos la actualidad de la crisis externa y la respuesta inicial del gobierno nacional para enfrentarla. Los límites de ese intento son analizados en la sección subsiguiente. Finalmente, presentamos unas breves conclusiones.
