Hidrogeología del sur de Península de Valdés, Chubut, Argentina

Abstract

Se presenta la hidrogeología del sector austral de la Península Valdés, ubicada al Noreste de Chubut, Argentina, mediante un análisis detallado de la información correspondiente a cada uno de los 14 sitios de dónde se poseen datos de subsuelo. Los perfiles geológicos provienen de sondeos realizados para exploración de aguas subterráneas (10 históricos y 4 expresamente para esta investigación), procediéndose a su interpretación integrada con el aporte de datos superficiales (relevamientos de campo), en el marco de geología regional y la geomorfología. Finalmente, se define el perfil esquemático integrado que refleja de modo simplificado la componente física del sistema geohidrológico del área y un esquema en tres dimensiones que permite visualizar el modelo planteado para la zona.
