This is to underline the effect of natural disaster in Latin-America cities, for they were and are the agents of society evolution. Above all, this work intends to be a contribution to reflection and an invitation to analysis production on natural catastrophes in Latin-America, due to the importance of its effects in past and present times.
Analiza las catástrofs naturales en América Latina desde una perspectiva histórica en sus consecuencias sobre la materialidad de las ciudades y hasta en los aspectos religiosos como son las celebraciones que aún hoy se llevan a cabo, pero se remontan a tiempos coloniales.
