Un balance de la lucha armada en América Latina (1959-2013)

Abstract

Tanto por el peso que tuvo en el pasado, como por las implicancias que tiene en el presente, el problema de la lucha armada en América Latina sigue planteando desafíos para la investigación. Por eso, son numerosos los problemas que rodean al debate sobre esta peculiar forma de lucha: a la agenda más tradicional, que estudió la composición social de las guerrillas; su relación con el movimiento campesino, obrero y estudiantil; o bien el vínculo con la Revolución cubana, se le agregaron nuevas problemáticas: la cultura política guerrillera; el problema de la violencia como eje de las organizaciones armadas; la situación de las mujeres en la guerrilla; la articulación entre movimientos armados de distintos países; la exploración de agrupaciones menores, la relación entre las guerrillas y los movimientos sociales.
