Abstract

Ya no es posible concebir los recursos naturales como se lo ha hecho tradicionalmente, y por eso resulta necesario abordar cómo la enunciación de los Estados de los países centrales y de organismos internacionales incide en la construcción de imaginarios y políticas respecto de los «frutos de la tierra». Esto conduce a discutir las diferentes definiciones en juego para nombrar esos recursos: renovables y no renovables, materias primas, commodities, capital natural, recursos naturales estratégicos, críticos, multicríticos, esenciales, bienes comunes. En el nombre que se les asigna están inscriptos a menudo proyectos en tensión respecto al uso que debe dárseles para el desarrollo nacional y regional, en este caso en América del Sur.
