¿Nuevas ruralidades en el agro chaqueño?

Abstract

This text aims to present a problematization of some theoretical and methodological frameworks that are identified as characteristic of the “new rurality” approach, based on the analysis of the case of Chaco agriculture. Our intention is to test some of these basic assumptions, to explore the limits and possibilities of this original approach. In order to characterize this “paradigm”, we rely upon, among others, the work of Arias (2006) and Fradejas (2007). Ultimately, the aim will be to question the analytical approaches with the intention that the analytical tools are tested in comparison with the social and historical phenomena situated in the Chaco geographical region. We also seek to make this a critical approach to the more spontaneous aspects of this new paradigm.
