Abstract

Desde fines del siglo XIXy hasta la actualidad, La Pampa ha mantenido un perfil productivo marcado por una fuerte dependencia de la actividad agropecuaria y por un reducido desarrollo industrial. El bajo peso de este último sector se ha mantenido en el tiempo, a pesar de que ya desde hace medio siglo se ha afianzado el influjo del sector terciario o de servicios, por un lado, con preponderancia estatal (administración pública, defensa, seguridad social, educación, servicios sociales y de salud) y por el otro, de aquellos con alto contenido privado (comercio, hotelería, restaurantes, servicios inmobiliarios, transporte, intermediación financiera y servicio doméstico). En la actualidad, su industria es uno de los ítems de menor importancia relativa en la economía provincial, que representa tan solo el 2,9% del PG (2019). De acuerdo con los resultados provisorios del Censo Nacional Económico 2020-2021, La Pampa registra el 4,8% del total de establecimientos censados, y solo está por delante de Santa Cruz (4,3%)...
