Micosis superficiales y subcutáneas

Abstract

Las micosis de la piel y de las mucosas son las infecciones fúngicas más frecuentes, y la mayoría de las personas padecen por lo menos una micosis leve a lo largo de su vida. Es habitual clasificarlas según las estructuras concretas que son infectadas, dividiéndolas en micosis superficiales, micosis de las mucosas y micosis subcutáneas. Las candidiasis genitales, la pitiriasis versicolor y las dermatofitosis son las micosis más habituales. De forma ocasional, pueden causar cuadros recidivantes o con tendencia a la cronicidad.
