Mariposas diurnas (Lepidoptera: Papilionoidea & Hesperioidea) de la costa atlántica bonaerense, provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina

Abstract

La franja costera bonaerense es una de las áreas con menor riqueza de mariposas de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Así, de las aproximadamente 200 especies que vuelan en toda la provincia sólo 50 (25%) existen fehacientemente en el área estudiada. Comparada con el área norte en general, la mitad sur de la provincia posee baja diversidad de especies. La profunda modificación ambiental realizada por el hombre en la zona costera afecta a muchas especies. Hay algunas que son muy adaptables y pueden acomodarse a esos cambios, en tanto existen otras que son muy sensibles a los disturbios ambientales.
